Fun with Homemade Dog Food
Just as you enjoy food, so do dogs. Your dog may not have quite the number of taste buds as you and I, but they are still capable of enjoying different tastes, smells, textures and combinations of all these things.
You can make food even more pleasurable – that is pleasurable for both you and your dog – by making meal times more interesting. More fun. You can do the same with treats too.
While dogs, like human beings, enjoy routine, there’s still no reason why you can’t mix it up a bit. Try a slow feeder so your dog has to take their time eating their food. Hide treats around the house or the garden so your dog has the fun of finding them – perfect for mental and physical stimulation.
Make your dog work for his or her food. Until you try it, you won’t believe just how much fun feeding a dog can be!
